Experts present programs on diet, watercolor art at Chester Library

Are you constantly craving sweets and want to understand why? Do you want to gain control of your appetite without willpower or deprivation? If so, then visit the Chester Library on Monday at 7 p.m. for a presentation by Julia Carrara for a talk on how to minimize cravings and break the bond of dependence on sugar.
Then on June 7 at 1 p.m., artist Gene Feller will demonstrate oil sketching on watercolor paper. During this interactive session, Feller will offer tips and techniques while creating an original piece.

In addition, the library's Children's Summer Reading Program begins on June 24. Children can sign up for the program and win weekly prizes while reading their favorite library books.
Kick off the reading program at 1 p.m. on June 24. Children's entertainer Cheryl Anne will tell stories illustrated by balloon sculptures. A Chester Library card is required. Stop by the library front desk for a free ticket.
