The monsoons are a time when you tend to feel more hungry and mess up your diet plans. Here's how to plan a diet for this pakoras-and-chai season.
Even if you are tempted to eat pakodas and samosas, try to go easy on street food.
Be careful about dairy products as they have the maximum propensity to get infected with germs. Avoid lassi and paneer .
The best foods to eat are bitter and astringent vegetables and cooling foods like barley, brown rice and oats.
Use a little asafoetida while cooking, which takes care of gas in the stomach. Cardamom, cinnamon and fennel seeds are also cooling agents.
Avoid gaseous food like cabbage, rajmah and white gram.
Consume lots of Vitamin C found in amla and citrus fruits to boost your immunity level.
