Group serves up a healthy diet

A TODDLER group designed to teach children about healthy eating will start in September.

Toddler Chef is the idea of Padbury mum Fiona Faulkner and she hopes the new group will encourage fussy eaters to try new things.

Mrs Faulkner said: "The launch on Saturday outside Waitrose went really well. I was astounded at how many parents who said they were pleased to see something like this in the area.

"On the day we were offering toddlers the chance to make mini traffic lights out of vegetables, or fruit kebabs."

The group's activities will be based around healthy eating and include singing about food, talking about food and cooking.
